Any active client that refers a family member, friend or neighbor to the hospital will be offered a $25.00 credit to their account. It’s simple! Ask the person that you have referred to mention your name at the time of their visit and we will put a credit on your account. Thank You!

Effective July 5^th,Clients Will Be Provided Full Access Into The Hospital and The Pet Hotel

Based on recent announcements by the CDC and Pennsylvania Department of Health regarding reduced Covid restrictions, we will be moving to relatively normal business operations 7/5/21. We will allow a single client to accompany their pet into the hospital for scheduled exams, surgical & dental procedures, medication & prescription diet pick ups, and tech appointments. *Only boarding and grooming appointments will remain curbside.

Many services including physical exams and technician appointments will continue to be performed outside of the exam room to comply with ongoing CDC & OSHA distancing guidelines in the workplace. WVH employees will continue to wear masks in the hospital due to the close quarters and confined spaces in which we work. We are strongly recommending all clients (regardless of vaccination status) wear an appropriately fitted mask when entering the hospital until we are able to satisfy vaccination protocols for our entire staff. Unvaccinated clients will be required to wear a face covering at all times upon entering our facility.

If you prefer to remain in your vehicle, Standard Curbside Services will continue to be available upon request. Call or text our office when you enter our parking lot to notify us of your arrival and location. Please remain in your vehicle until a team member comes out to help you.

We will continue offering Remote Health Consults to our clients as well. Ideally, most medical conditions are best addressed through an examination of your pet. However, given the current environment, we are offering Telemedicine Consults as an alternative to physically bringing your pet into the hospital. This service is for existing and active patients only.

While we have had to implement many new hospital protocols and continue to operate under restrictions, we are very excited and hopeful that these changes are just the next step towards returning our hospital and pet hotel to normal business operations. We thank each of you for your flexibility and grace as we have navigated the pandemic and curbside service this past year. We are very much ready to settle back into a more traditional approach and allow you more active participation in your pet's veterinary care. Please continue to be patient and understanding with our staff as we iron out the inevitable hiccups in the process.

If you are sick, coughing, have a fever, or have had any exposure to a person with suspected or confirmed COVID-19 in the past several weeks, please notify us of your situation and consider rescheduling your pet’s appointment or discuss options for a telemedicine consult with one of our doctors. If it is decided by one of our doctors that your pet urgently needs to be seen, please follow their instructions and make every effort to find a healthy person to bring your pet to the hospital or emergency clinic (PVSEC), as we all continue to operate under very strict CDC, OSHA, and PA Department of Health guidelines in situations such as these.
